Bill Blancato

Bill Blancato lives in Winston-Salem, NC. He is an attorney specializing in mediation and arbitration services after an earlier career in litigation and corporate law. Since volunteering with Citizens’ Climate Lobby in 2013, Bill has served as a group leader, regional coordinator, liaison, and state coordinator. He has participated in dozens of meetings with Congressional offices and has made several presentations to community groups. Bill’s writings about climate change and carbon pricing have been published in several North Carolina newspapers.

Bill is a native of Queens, New York which is home to the Louis Armstrong house (a great place to visit) and the New York Mets. He attended Queens College and graduated from the Duke University School of Law. Bill and his wife Eileen have two wonderful daughters. Bill enjoys tennis, cycling, gardening, hiking, cooking and good wine.
